The picture of Mary Lane seated with that little guy, is her second marriage photo. Joseph Lenher had died of syphilis in Buffalo sanatorium, she needed a husband, that man Joseph Steve married her. He was not a kind man and already had three kids that he wanted her to watch over. she was overworked by taking in laundry and his verbal abuse. So she passed away.
